Weekly Classes

Peer learning is my fav as the kids share their discoveries. Enjoy Math's with Kat, Stem with Liss, English interwoven into all lessons.
Support for parents, seeking guidance on various topics. Sometimes it's a pick me up, others it's upleveling our skills.
Book Club
Monthly book club hosted by Liss sparks intellectual conversations that bridge generational gaps. There are 2 sessions, one for younger children and a separate session for the teens/tweens.
Quarterly progress parties
These are joyous occasions where accomplishments are celebrated - no matter how big or small - and friendships cemented.

Hi, I'm Liss!
We were in a place of overwhelm. The kids were wondering if they were actually getting an education, we knew our travels provided a lot of learning opportunities but we couldn’t quite piece it together and we needed support to do so.
TKA was born out of what we were lacking and many others on the road. We needed flexibility, community, easy to do learning prompts using what we had on the road, variety and personalized topics to engage my kids. Over time TKA has evolved and is still with every new travel family who joins adding a new element.
Hi, I'm Cush,
I had always dreamed of being a teacher and after getting there in an untraditional way - I was happy in my teacher bubble. I ended up at an alternative school that challenged the norm, did things that were in the best interests of the whole child and ultimately made school FUN.
What I didn't plan for was going on to finish my Masters in teaching (on maternity leave) just to decide I didn't want to go back to the classroom 🤣 since becoming a mum and diving deep into homeschooling I realised perhaps I needed to update a few of my learnings.
I am a big believer that learning is not seperate to life, it is all encompassed in our day to day. There is so much learning happening around us, we just need to tap into it. My passion lies in creating fun projects for Traveling Kids Academy that focuses on interests, passions, strengths. All while having maximum fun and learning through their travels.

Cush and I will get to work choosing the best Study Units & supporting you through your application to Homeschool - inclusive of your 12 mth learning plan.

Active Travel Starts
As the road beckons, we're your steady companions.
You now have everything needed to begin Travel schooling. You may choose to go off grid or jump into our interactive weekly Zoom meetings bringing us face-to-face, bridging the miles and creating a vibrant community where parents and children learn from one another.
Our weekly lessons fuel curious minds and encourages a love for learning that extends beyond traditional classrooms.
STEP 4
Finding Our Groove
Celebrating victories – big and small. The quarterly progress parties are your chance to revel in your achievements and connect with fellow nomadic families. These parties are more than just milestones; they're a testament to your dedication and growth.

Reflecting and Collating Learning

Each term you'll get an end of term reflection to complete so you can document how far your child has come with their learning.
Along with your journal and pictures we start organizing, ready to write your reports.
